The $45 million you are stealing from the US Treasury could be much better spent.

1. The same money could buy more than one million Covid test kits.
2. The same money could pay the annual salary of 450 federal employees whom you just fired from organizations such as the CDC and FDA.
3. The same money could feed more than 13,000 people in the US for a year.

Why are you wasting our dollars?

Dear First Fake Bone-Spurs,

It never ceases to amaze me how utterly ridiculous your comments are, perhaps particularly when you try to rewrite history.

To claim that the US did more than any other allied nation to bring about victory in World War II is just the latest example. You have conveniently forgotten – if you ever knew – that sacrifices that Great Britain made in fighting the Nazi regime alone and you are apparently ignorant of the fight and sacrifices of the brave Resistance fighters in all of Europe. And what about the millions of Soviet citizens who died fighting the Nazis?

Now, you want a military parade to honor … not real heroes, but you?

The suck-ups will give you your parade and waste our taxpayer dollars as they do so. But no force on earth or in heaven can give you true honor.

Sadly, your Department of Injustice has fired an attorney who kept his oath of office and told the truth: that the government had error in deporting Mr. Abrego Garcia to El Salvador in direct contravention of a court order.

No surprise, however. We know that your own oath of office – to abide by the laws of the United States — means nothing to you.

You can fire people who do their jobs and tell the truth in a court of law, but your firings don’t change the truth.

As a former Justice Department attorney, I am sickened by the efforts of your Administration to snuff out the truth. But the truth will prevail.

The bozos you appointed to run our Defense Department and national security apparatus have been revealed for the incompetents they are.

And you are revealed as the incompetent you are, for having appointed them.

Our brave pilots can thank their good luck that your government’s release of war information did not compromise their mission and lead to their deaths.

In 2016, you said that Hillary Clinton tried to “bypass government security” and “sent and received classified information on an insecure server, putting the safety of the American people under threat.” With that claim, you went on to win an election.

In 2016, your now Secretary of Defense said that America’s allies would be “worried that our leaders may be exposing them because of their gross negligence or their recklessness in handling information.”

But today you deem as a “witch hunt” the legitimate process of trying to understand what happened and trying to assure that it never happens again. Everything you don’t like is a “witch hunt.” Stop using that tired and always misplaced cliché.

We now learn that Vance thinks Europe is “pathetic,” but the real Pathetic One sits behind the desk in the Oval Office.

The plot was captivating and the writing excellent. The first half of the book is dominated by the mysteries of whether a decades-silent nun in a monastery in northern Greece is the long-thought-dead sister of the central character, Nicky, a New York psychiatrist who was raised, along with his sister, as a devout Jew in Greece. Weaved in and out of the book are the harrowing experiences of the central character as a freedom fighter against the Nazis (and gangs of Greek sympathizers) during World War II. Without giving away the plot, I will say only that the last half of the book resolves the mysteries of how an observant Jewish young girl survived the Holocaust and became a gifted, yet silent, nun for decades thereafter and, of course, whether she is related to Nicky.The book is intelligently written, dealing with such complex issues as the meaning of faith, the challenges that mental illness presents for a family, the emotional strains and conflicts of living through the Holocaust, and new love for a couple in their 60’s. Through it all, I was “on the edge of my seat,” anxious to learn how the various mysteries would be resolved. And, perhaps most rewarding, some were left open for resolution by the reader’s imagination.All in all, an incredible first book by the author. I can’t wait for the second!

Your moves against Columbia University are based on a pretext. The alleged punishment – removal of all federal grants – is the point and purpose, not the consequence.

You will do anything to hurt colleges and universities (especially those on the coasts) because college-educated people on balance see through you and recognize you for what you are: a con man, a fraud, a cheater, a crook.

By speculating about taking control over Panama, Greenland, Gaza, and Canada, by forsaking Europe, NATO, and Ukraine, by threatening to send US troops into Mexico and renaming global maps to satisfy your ego, you are sending the message – not only that the US can’t be trusted – but also that the US arsenal is in the hands of a madman.

Instead of making the US look strong, you’re making us look weak, catering to dictators and imposing punitive tariffs that make no economic sense.

How ironic that Mr. Bone Spurs now wants us to wage war. I can envision you watching this war unfold on a White House TV, while American die, and you’re entertained.
